About the role
This role involves creating and driving various engineering projects to successful completion within the R&D engineering team, focusing on semiconductor equipment.
What you'll do
- Manage Product Life Cycle (PLC) process for New Product Introduction (NPI) to meet Marketing Requirement Specifications (MRS) of Features, Schedule, and Cost targets.
- Project manage high volume semiconductor equipment systems or retrofits from Bill of Materials (BoM) upload to customer delivery.
- Lead internal and external organizations to meet project milestones and performance targets.
- Drive cost-reduction projects in conjunction with supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering.
- Manage multi-disciplinary programs (supply chain, engineering, finance, management) and deliver status updates to senior management.
- Support technical activities, working with product development teams on specifications and data collection requirements.
What you'll need
- Master’s Degree in Material Science, Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, or equivalent technical education or experience.
- 3+ years of semiconductor manufacturing and materials management experience.
- Previous experience managing the Product Life Cycle (PLC) and relevant tasks to be completed during each phase.
- Strong leadership qualities to exercise influence throughout the organization and with external parties.
- Strong project management and analytical skills.
- Production Control, Forecasting, and/or Project Management experience.
- Experience with Parts and Inventory Management.
Nice to have
- Oracle or SAP Experience.
- Strong negotiations skills.
