As a Senior Engineer, Global Product Management, you will drive ASM’s product strategy and market leadership by shaping the product roadmap, overseeing the full product lifecycle, and engaging with customers to deliver solutions. This role offers the unique opportunity to work across disciplines and influence the future of semiconductor technology.
What you'll do
- Identify key market opportunities and develop product roadmaps to enhance ASM’s market position.
- Drive products from concept to high-volume manufacturing and eventual obsolescence.
- Define market requirements, conduct competitive analysis, and develop business plans.
- Lead technical discussions with customers and coordinate with suppliers to optimize cost, specifications, and timelines.
- Assess product profitability, manage cost models, and develop pricing strategies.
- Support product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and executive alignment for new product launches.
What you'll need
- PhD in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in semiconductor process engineering or semiconductor equipment technology.
- 3+ years of experience in customer support, product management, or product marketing roles.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor capital equipment, supply chain, and product lifecycle management.
- Experience engaging directly with customers, presenting technical marketing materials, and defining product value propositions.
