About the role
This role involves implementing a quality assurance program to ensure quality production of products consistent with established standards.
What you'll do
- Respond technically to customers, driving 8D investigation and root cause strategies.
- Participate in problem solving, change management, and NPI process management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across products, regions, customers, and suppliers.
- Provide support for documentation expectations, performance reporting, and continuous improvement project management.
What you'll need
- Bachelor or above of Science Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electric/Electronic Engineering.
- Experience in an engineering role in quality, process, equipment, or materials within the semiconductor industry, including PVD/CVD, CMP, Photo, Etch, Implant, BCD, or Liquid/Air/Gas Filtration & Purification.
- Experience managing issues and projects between internal stakeholders and customers, including escalation management.
- Experience with quality tools such as pareto, FMEA, SPC, histograms, trend analysis, process mapping, design of experiments, cause and effect diagrams, and 8D problem solving methodology.
- Ability to communicate verbally in English and Mandarin.
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel/vlookup, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and Statistic software (JMP or Minitab).
Nice to have
- Experience working from home and remotely collaborating with colleagues, customers, and suppliers in virtual meetings.
- Experience working and communicating between North America based manufacturing facilities and Asia based support teams and customers.
