This role involves independently developing, creating, and modifying general computer applications software or specialized utility programs by analyzing product requirements and designing software solutions.
What you'll do
- Independently plan and perform development of computer application software or utility programs.
- Analyze product requirements and develop software solutions.
- Confer with system and software architects, engineers, and programmers on project limitations, capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.
- Design software or customize software to optimize operational efficiency.
- Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance.
- Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- One (1) year of experience in a related occupation.
