About the role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will specify, design, develop, realize, integrate, and test modules and tools in a multi-disciplined team, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners and suppliers. This role involves taking full technical ownership and leading multiple complex designs end-to-end, with a broader view of system impacts and cross-functional dependencies.
What you'll do
- Identify, analyze, document, and manage requirements with traceability, and coordinate verification criteria to confirm deliverables meet intent.
- Conduct research and feasibility studies, document findings, and translate results into recommendations, tradeoffs, and decision inputs.
- Develop engineering concepts and solutions, make technical choices, and resolve issues to meet functionality, performance, cost, and compliance needs.
- Define and communicate specifications and high-level designs, align interfaces, and support reviews and approvals to enable quality execution.
- Support system or product integration by coordinating dependencies, applying configuration management, and enabling smooth project execution.
- Define and execute validation and test approaches, improve methods and procedures, and ensure qualification evidence supports release readiness.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, product development, or system integration.
- Experience with electronic design automation tools and printed circuit board design.
- Experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, validation, and verification activities.
- Experience using technical tools such as Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, circuit simulation tools, and laboratory test equipment.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary engineering environment delivering complex technical systems.
Nice to have
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Experience with Mentor Graphics xDX/xPCB Designer.
- Experience with PSpice or other circuit simulation tools.
