About the role
In this role, you will represent functional safety strategy and architectures to automotive customers and help integrate safety measures into DRIVE products.
What you'll do
- Represent NVIDIA's functional safety strategy and architectures to the customer. - Work closely with customers to understand their functional safety requirements and system architectures, feeding feedback to development teams. - Assist customers to safely integrate and validate products in their systems and vehicles. - Support customer-facing safety collateral. - Tailor functional safety platforms and safety analyses for strategic customers. - Collaborate with safety management, solution architects, sales, and technical marketing teams to deliver products.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (or equivalent experience) with at least 5 years of relevant experience in system safety, functional safety, or systems engineering (or an advanced degree with equivalent experience). - Deep understanding of functional safety system architectures needed to meet the ISO 26262 functional safety standard (or market-adjacent standards such as IEC 61508). - Experience interacting with customers and managing customer engagements.
