About the role
This role leads customer quality engagements for strategic Data Center, Networking and AI Infrastructure customers, driving customer satisfaction, field quality improvement, issue resolution, and quality leadership. This role specifically supports networking solutions such as DPUs, SmartNICs, AI-NICs, and high-speed Ethernet adapters.
What you'll do
- Lead customer quality engagements and serve as the primary quality interface for strategic customers.
- Drive customer satisfaction, quality performance, and issue resolution across the product lifecycle.
- Own customer quality scorecards and lead critical escalations and root-cause investigations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, reliability, and field performance.
- Support new product introductions and provide technical guidance on customer issues and failure analysis.
- Lead customer audits and executive reviews, acting as the voice of the customer within AMD.
What you'll need
- Experience in Customer Quality Engineering, Product Quality, Reliability Engineering, Failure Analysis, or Technical Customer Support.
- Experience supporting hyperscale cloud customers, OEMs, ODMs, or large enterprise accounts.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, qualification, reliability, packaging, and test operations.
- Experience managing customer scorecards, DPPM targets, and field quality performance.
- Experience leading customer escalations, executive communications, and cross-functional problem-solving efforts.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Nice to have
- Experience in semiconductor, electronics, server, networking, or data center industries.
- Familiarity with structured quality methodologies including 8D, RCA, FMEA, and Six Sigma.
- Experience with server platforms, x86 processors, AI accelerators, networking products, Ethernet adapters, SmartNICs, DPUs, AI-NICs, or high-performance data center infrastructure.
- Experience supporting networking products, PCIe cards, NICs, SmartNICs, DPUs, AI cluster interconnects, storage networking, or hyperscale/cloud networking deployments.
