About the role
As a Compute Systems Software Engineer, you will work on the kernel drivers and embedded software for Data Center products.
What you'll do
- Design software for compute GPU solutions.
- Develop and maintain software technologies for NVIDIA GPU hardware across Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Implement cross-platform software solutions for new hardware architectures.
- Develop features for clock, thermal, and power management.
- Build telemetry, device initialization, device management, and reset capabilities.
- Implement memory-management solutions and performance optimizations for GPU platforms.
- Contribute to embedded software development supporting GPU functionality and platform integration.
What you'll need
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years experience developing low level device drivers, especially for the Linux OS.
- Strong programming skills in C and C++.
- Detailed knowledge of operating system internals and various device driver models.
- Low-level operating system knowledge.
Nice to have
- Windows experience.
