About the role
This role involves assessing, architecting, and operating compute, storage, and scale-up fabrics that underpin large GPU estates. It focuses on the fabric side of NVIDIA's Cloud Partner (NCP) operating model, leveraging technologies like InfiniBand/UFM, Spectrum-X, Cumulus Linux, SONiC, and DOCA/DPU services.
What you'll do
- Own Day 2 fabric operations across NCP fleets, including NVLink/NVSwitch partition management on GB200/GB300 NVL72-class systems. - Own the switch software and firmware lifecycle, covering Cumulus Linux, SONiC, and switch-OS upgrades. - Support Day 1 fabric validation and acceptance, including InfiniBand and UFM bring-up, and Spectrum-X/RoCE Ethernet configuration. - Drive fabric reliability at fleet scale through telemetry, fault detection, remediation, and root-cause analysis. - Provide consultative guidance and hands-on troubleshooting across the fabric stack, including NICs, DPUs, and routing.
What you'll need
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience. - 5+ years of professional experience in data centre networking, fabric engineering, or large-scale network operations. - Deep understanding of data centre network architectures and RDMA fabrics (InfiniBand, RoCE/Ethernet), including topology and routing design. - Hands-on experience with InfiniBand, UFM, Spectrum-X Ethernet, Cumulus Linux, SONiC, ConnectX and BlueField NICs/DPUs, and NVLink/NVSwitch systems. - Deep knowledge of Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu) and switch operating systems, network OS internals, and host networking. - Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting, configuration management (Ansible, Terraform), and observability stacks (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus).
