About the role
This role involves improving the netlist and timing quality of designs as a Senior Circuit Design Engineer specializing in Power Modeling and Simulation. You will contribute to innovative Processor design in deep submicron technologies.
What you'll do
- Participate in innovative Processor design in deep submicron technologies.
- Design innovative power delivery and power management solutions.
- Model and simulate analog and digital circuits and systems.
- Model and simulate power delivery networks (PDN) from die level to platform level.
- Perform detailed block-level and system-level simulations to ensure reliability, performance, and stability.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership for junior team members.
What you'll need
- BSEE (or equivalent experience)/MS or PhD degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 6+ years of experience.
- Experience with modeling and simulation of digital and analog circuits and systems and associated power delivery networks.
- Experience with industry-standard electromagnetic simulation tools (Ansys, Sigrity).
- Experience with modeling and simulation using Matlab/Simulink, Simplis, Spice, verilogAMS, mixed-signal RTL+spice, s-parameters.
- Familiarity/experience with industry-standard design and EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso, Allegro) and circuit simulation tools (HSpice, Spectre, Primesim, XA).
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience modeling and simulating complex and sophisticated power delivery networks for CPU/GPU.
- Hands-on background simulating digital and analog circuits and control loops.
- Proficiency in scripting language, such as Perl, Tcl, Python, Skill, and automation methods/algorithms.
