About the role
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Circuit Design Engineer to join the Power Circuits Solutions Group to improve power delivery across integrated designs. The position focuses on translating system-on-package requirements into voltage regulator specifications while addressing thermal, packaging, and electrical challenges.
What you'll do
- Collaborate closely with System/Software Architects, Power Integrity/Packaging experts, and Product and Process engineers to quantify energy efficiency improvements of integrated power delivery solutions.
- Break down complex Systems-on-package into simpler, tractable electrical models to identify and evaluate feasible solutions.
- Translate modeled solutions into a coherent set of voltage regulator features and specifications.
- Investigate solutions addressing packaging, interconnect, physical design, electrical, and thermal constraints for future products.
What you'll need
- MSEE/MSCE or equivalent experience (preferably PhD) with 8+ years of equivalent experience.
- Strong background in analog and mixed signal circuit design.
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of power converters and their various components.
- System-level understanding of power delivery solutions for SoCs, including thermal constraints, package and board effects, noise requirements, and load modeling.
- Experience with architecture, system-level design, and implementation of industry-standard protection schemes such as overcurrent, over/under voltage, and over temperature.
- Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink, industry standard silicon EDA tools (Cadence), and circuit simulators (spice, etc.).
Nice to have
- Exposure to lab setup, design for testing, and silicon validation experience.
- Industry experience bringing designs from concept to high volume production.
Skills: Power Circuits Solutions Group, power delivery, voltage regulator, thermal constraints, Matlab/Simulink, Cadence, spice

How we counted: 69 open Power Electronics (Power Management) roles from 22 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 31 Oct 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Analog & Mixed-Signal family row.
