About the role
This role involves the technical execution, verification, and validation of mixed-signal integrated circuits for power management applications. The team focuses on developing hybrid converter and power delivery solutions for automotive and robotics applications.
What you'll do
- Execute block design, verification, and validation for mixed-signal integrated circuits.
- Define system, architecture, circuit design, simulation, and layout for power management designs.
- Apply analog design theory and device physics to create novel techniques.
- Document design reviews, design notes, and provide layout guidance.
- File patents, publish papers or technical articles, and stay updated on technical developments.
What you'll need
- B.S. degree in electrical engineering.
- At least 4 years direct experience designing analog and mixed-signal transistor level circuitry for power management applications.
- Expertise in analog design theory and device physics.
- Ability to design traditional analog MOS and BJT circuits such as bandgap references, amplifiers, oscillators, detection circuits, linear LDO, and switching regulators.
Nice to have
- M.S. degree in electrical engineering.
- Ability to design DC-DC converter, switch cap converter, and load switches.
- Experience in hybrid converter design.
- Experience with mixed-signal design tools and flow.
- Experience reading and writing Verilog AMS models.
