About the role
What you'll do
- Engage with customers to understand AI workloads, deployment architectures, and infrastructure requirements.
- Lead technical discussions with customers and partners, communicating Intel's AI infrastructure strategy.
- Analyze AI usage models and architectures spanning software, systems, hardware, and infrastructure.
- Design and execute workload characterization, benchmarking, proofs of concept, and architecture validation.
- Translate customer evidence and technical findings into product requirements, architecture recommendations, and workload optimizations.
- Develop reference architectures, solution concepts, benchmark methodologies, and technical acceptance criteria.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field with 8+ years of industry experience; OR Master's degree or Ph.D. in a related technical discipline with 6+ years of experience.
- 6+ years of experience with AI systems and workloads in data center, cloud, high-performance computing, or related technical environments.
- 5+ years of experience working directly with customers on technical architecture, product definition, or solution requirements.
Nice to have
- MBA or equivalent experience translating technical decisions into product outcomes.
- Demonstrated depth across AI workloads, system architecture, and data center infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with AI frameworks, workload characterization, benchmarking, or performance optimization.
- Direct experience with server and data center platforms involving CPUs, memory, networking, storage, accelerators, or system software.
- Proven track record of translating customer requirements and technical findings into product requirements, architecture recommendations, or platform enhancements.
- Demonstrated experience influencing senior engineering stakeholders and driving technical decisions without direct authority.
- Technical engagement with hyperscale, cloud, enterprise, OEM/ODM, or AI ecosystem customers.
