About the role
This individual independently plans and performs the moderately-defined responsibility for developing and ensuring sample application comprehensiveness for Application Developers on Windows on Snapdragon.
What you'll do
- Develop and ensure sample application comprehensiveness for Application Developers on Windows on Snapdragon, covering various models and use-cases. - Provide performance and accuracy diagnostics in sample applications to reflect expected behavior of 3rd party applications with AI models. - Interface with 3rd party application developers and cross-functional teams to create easy-to-use sample applications and documentation. - Contribute new features and designs to the Qualcomm AI toolkit to enhance developer workflow. - Analyze 3rd party and open-source agentic AI platforms on Snapdragon and competing devices for functionality, performance, and system behavior. - Develop and debug new agentic AI user experiences benefiting from local AI models working in hybrid with cloud models. - Identify, evaluate, and implement AI tools and processes to improve software development processes. - Provide support on customer issues and requirements to Software Application Engineers, including input to project planning and timescales. - Create engineering documentation for intellectual property and prepare technical specifications and requirements. - Act as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field. - Five (5) years of progressive experience in a related occupation.
