About the role
This role involves defining and advancing security architecture for NVIDIA's SoCs and GPUs.
What you'll do
- Support security certification and compliance efforts, including FIPS 140-3, EU CRA, ISO 21434, and Caliptra trademark audit.
- Assist with certification documentation, evidence collection, and coordination with internal and external partners.
- Translate security requirements and certification expectations into engineering guidance for hardware, firmware, and software teams.
- Review architecture, verification, and firewall specifications to assess platform security requirements.
- Contribute to threat modeling by identifying trust boundaries, attack surfaces, and mitigations.
- Build and improve AI-assisted tools for specification review, security requirement identification, and threat modeling.
What you'll need
- Pursuing or recently completed a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Strong foundation in computer architecture, digital logic, operating systems, embedded systems, or computer security.
- Experience in security, computer architecture, hardware design, or cryptography.
- Programming and debugging fundamentals in one or more of C, C++, Python, Verilog, System Verilog, ARM assembly, RISC V assembly, or scripting languages.
- Strong analytical, reasoning, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in learning security architecture for SoCs and GPUs and how AI tools can improve engineering workflows.
