Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and systems using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Python.
About the role
This role protects computer networks and systems from cyber threats while integrating security practices across the software development lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Monitor computer networks for security issues, investigate breaches or violations, and assist in incident response and forensic analysis. - Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify security weaknesses across systems. - Perform log analysis, correlate security events, and develop automated alert triage systems. - Integrate security practices and automated security testing tools into the CI/CD pipeline and software development lifecycle. - Collaborate with development teams to resolve security vulnerabilities early in the development cycle. - Develop security standards and best practices while ensuring compliance with security frameworks.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, cybersecurity, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in information security or a related IT role, plus 2+ years of experience with DevOps or DevSecOps practices. - Knowledge of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts, along with familiarity with ISO 27001/27002, NIST CSF, and CIS Controls. - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) and version control systems (e.g., Git). - Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI). - Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible), RESTful APIs, and JSON/XML formats. - Proficiency in identity federation protocols (OIDC, SAML) and experience configuring Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
