About the role

The Sampling Oscilloscopes Product Planner defines and drives the roadmap and product strategy for optical and electrical sampling oscilloscopes and associated software applications. The role focuses on measurement solutions spanning 224G, 448G, 896G, and future Tb/s interconnect technologies, as well as Co-Packaged Optics (CPO), silicon photonics, and advanced packaging.

What you'll do

- Own the short- and long-term roadmap and strategy for the optical and electrical sampling oscilloscope portfolio and associated software applications. - Define product requirements and growth strategies for waveform analysis, transmitter characterization, and advanced photonics testing applications. - Drive roadmap planning for measurement solutions supporting multi-level PAM signaling such as PAM4, PAM6, and PAM8, co-packaged optics (CPO), and silicon photonics. - Conduct market analysis, competitive assessments, and track industry trends across 224G, 448G, 896G, and future Tb/s interconnect technologies. - Collaborate with ecosystem partners and global cross-functional teams across R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and sales to define test workflows and execute product launches. - Develop business cases, market forecasts, and strategic recommendations while influencing standards for high-speed serial interfaces and AI data center infrastructure.

What you'll need

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Physics, Optical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in product planning, product management, strategic marketing, business development, applications engineering, or related functions within test & measurement, photonics, telecommunications, or semiconductor industries. - Understanding of optical and electrical communication systems, architectures, and market dynamics in areas such as optical transceivers, high-speed Ethernet (224G/448G/896G), and AI data center architectures. - Knowledge of sampling oscilloscope technology and optical waveform measurements, including NRZ, PAM-n, transmitter characterization, and advanced optical analysis techniques. - Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, jitter analysis, eye diagram measurements, equalization techniques, and link validation methodologies. - Demonstrated technical familiarity with silicon photonics, co-packaged optics (CPO), and advanced packaging and photonic integration.

Nice to have

- Hands-on experience with sampling oscilloscopes and optical measurement software. - Hands-on experience with validating and/or manufacturing lasers, optical transceivers, or silicon photonic devices. - Experience working directly with hyperscalers, semiconductor vendors, networking equipment manufacturers, or optical component suppliers. - Demonstrated leadership in product strategy, market analysis, and technology roadmap development within the test and measurement industry. - PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Photonics, or a related technical field.

Skills: product strategy, roadmap development, sampling oscilloscopes, optical communications, AI data center
