About the role

This Staff Sales Account Management role drives sales of Synopsys emulation, FPGA prototyping, and virtual prototyping solutions to semiconductor and system companies.

What you'll do

• Drive sales of Synopsys emulation, FPGA prototyping, and virtual prototyping solutions.
• Work with design and verification teams to understand hardware and software verification challenges and position technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Synopsys field application engineers and technical specialists to scope solutions, run evaluations, and build proof of value.
• Develop and present business proposals connecting technical capabilities to customer schedule, cost, and risk priorities.
• Negotiate and close complex, multi-quarter sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Partner with customer success and technical account teams post-sale to ensure deployment success, adoption, and expansion opportunities.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in IC design, verification, or technical sales within the semiconductor industry.
• Demonstrated success selling or supporting complex technical products in EDA, emulation, simulation, or verification tools.
• Strong understanding of chip design and verification workflows including RTL simulation, emulation, FPGA prototyping, and software bring-up.
• Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
