About the role
This role involves deploying innovative industrial robotics across Amazon's North America fulfillment network, focusing on the planning, installation, and launch of industrial automation technologies.
What you'll do
- Support and guide installation of robotics, packaging, and sortation technologies at Amazon fulfillment centers.
- Develop detailed knowledge of robotic systems and guide installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Manage technical ambiguity around integration of work cells in fulfillment centers.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering, technical program managers, product managers, and internal customers.
- Manage day-to-day project scheduling and budget.
- Generate and implement continuous improvement ideas around work-scopes.
What you'll need
- Experience deploying robotic equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems, network configurations, and software coordination.
- Experience with complex electro-mechanical and network systems.
- Experience with large scale installations and system troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external partners and customers.
- Ability to demonstrate independent initiative to identify and solve problems in real time during deployments.
- Ability to travel to project sites across North America, upwards of 75% or more.
