About the role
What you'll do
- Contribute to the design of millimeter-wave LNAs, PAs, VCOs, mixers, Phase Shifters, Attenuators, Switches, Supporting Analog and Interface circuitry.
- Perform active device and electromagnetic modeling for high-frequency designs.
- Meet performance requirements considering size, cost, footprint, power dissipation, and schedule.
- Contribute design schematics, simulations, and real lab data as part of a team.
- Compare simulated data to real lab data using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with focus on RF/mmW IC design.
- Minimum GPA of 3.3.
- RF/mmW circuit design coursework and/or experience.
- Software exposure: ADS, Cadence, HFSS, EMX.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Nice to have
- Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
