Design complex radio frequency integrated circuits in SoCs for 4G, 5G, 6G WLAN, BT, and GPS standards.

About the role

Define, design, and develop complex radio frequency integrated circuits in complex SoCs and discrete RFICs. This role involves detailed transistor-level design of highly-integrated transceivers and associated blocks for wireless applications utilizing advanced process technologies.

What you'll do

  • Contribute to the architecture and design of small, well-defined blocks based on specifications using appropriate tools/applications.
  • Run simulations to determine circuit performance under various circumstances.
  • Collaborate with layout engineers to floor-plan layout, generate circuit layouts, and conduct physical verification.
  • Write basic test plans, review test results to assess performance, and identify bugs.
  • Debug simple issues and escalate complex issues.
  • Utilize Neural Networks for circuit optimization and analysis.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years experience with designing RF/Analog circuits for wireless products (e.g., LNA's, PLL's).
  • 2+ years of academic or professional experience using two or more of the following software: CADENCE, Virtuoso, ADS.

Nice to have

  • 3 years experience in the transistor level design of RF analog integrated circuits with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Design of receiver and transmitter RF/Analog circuits, Design of high-performance RF frequency synthesizers, Digital control and signal processing, Product experience from conception, design, and product commercialization, Electro Magnetic simulation/modeling.

Skills: RF/Analog circuits, LNA's, PLL's, transistor level design, Cadence Virtuoso
