About the role
Texas Instruments is seeking a Process Technician to support clean room operations by communicating across engineering and manufacturing groups to address production concerns and disposition production material.
What you'll do
- Perform technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area. - Monitor, audit, and provide guidance to line operators once the product is on the line. - Test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel. - Interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to resolve issues.
What you'll need
- High School diploma or GED, and at least 18 years of age. - Either 2 years of semiconductor experience as a Technician OR 8 years of non-semiconductor or military Technician experience. - Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule. - Flexibility to work day or night shift, including one weekend shift and holidays.
Nice to have
- Troubleshooting skills on electrical and mechanical systems. - Proficiency with MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Ability to quickly ramp on new tools and processes. - Ability to understand process flow quickly and improve overall fab performance.
