About the role
This Winter/Spring Co-Op provides an opportunity to develop advanced RF front-end modules. You will work with experienced engineers to validate RF products such as LNA, RF switches, and couplers.
What you'll do
- Validate/develop RF products such as LNA, RF switches, Couplers, and integrated front-end module products.
- Measure RF products’ performance across supply, temperature, and frequency.
- Create compliance matrices against spec, plot results, and analyze data.
- Perform lab testing using standard RF test equipment.
- Work with design engineers to optimize matching circuits and verify designs.
- Participate in and present data reviews.
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering BS or MS/PhD program, returning to school after the Co-Op.
- Ability to complete a 6-month Co-Op term during Winter/Spring 2027 (January – June 2027).
- Knowledge of RF parameters (Gain, NF, insertion loss, return loss, harmonics, IMD, IIP2/3, VSWR).
- Experience using RF equipment such as oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, and RF sources.
- Strong background in RF and Microwave designs.
- Experience in design tools such as ADS/HFSS and/or Cadence Virtuoso.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of coding is a plus.
