About the role
This role works closely with the field sales team as an RF/uW Field Application Engineer to understand customer measurement challenges, demonstrate solutions, and enable customer success across pre- and post-sales technical engagements. Technical focus areas include vector network analysis, IQ modulation, and RF/microwave test and measurement applications.
What you'll do
- Lead customer engagements from a technical perspective across pre-sales and post-sales support. - Own technical solution development, demonstration, proposal creation, and delivery. - Partner with sales professionals, industry solution teams, and technical disciplines to develop and win customer opportunities. - Create demand for products and services through technical presentations, seminars, and demonstrations. - Transport test equipment to and from customer sites and drive a company vehicle as part of field job responsibilities.
What you'll need
- BS in EE, CS, ECE, or equivalent education with a background in Telecommunications, Radar, and/or RF systems. - Strong understanding of RF and microwave test and measurement applications, with emphasis on vector network analysis and IQ modulation. - Capability to drive a company vehicle and transport test equipment to/from customer sites. - US Citizenship with eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
Nice to have
- MS in EE, CS, or ECE. - Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, Python, Matlab, or C. - Background in RF/uW/mmW systems and component test with modern VNAs, signal generators, and signal analyzers. - Background in space & satellite communications, radar & electronic warfare test systems, or semiconductor test. - Familiarity with communication standards such as 5GNR, 802.11, or LTE.
