About the role
This role involves the design validation of RF and wireless systems across Apple’s products, including iPhones, Watches, and iPads.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the design and validation of RF and wireless systems from prototyping to mass production.
- Design calibration routines and test algorithms for a multi-faceted test software suite.
- Collaborate with chipset manufacturers, test equipment vendors, and internal teams to analyze wireless performance data.
- Address technical challenges to deploy wireless features.
What you'll need
- BS in Electrical Engineering with 2 years of industrial experience in the RF/Wireless Industry.
- Understanding of RF Transceiver Blocks, Communications theory, or RF Parameters.
- Familiarity with RF/wireless test equipment and associated RF measurements.
- Ability to write clean, efficient code in C, C++, or Python.
Nice to have
- MSEE.
- 5+ Years of industry experience.
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and scalable software design principles.
- Recent experience developing test solutions for wireless RF standards (e.g., WiFi 802.11xx, Bluetooth 5.0, 5G, NFC, UWB).
- Familiarity with tools that enable high volume manufacturing of these technologies.
