About the role
This role involves the design and validation of RF and wireless systems across Apple’s products, focusing on wireless accuracy and performance.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the design and validation of RF and wireless systems from prototyping to mass production.
- Design calibration routines and test algorithms.
- Contribute to a multi-faceted test SW suite.
- Collaborate with chipset manufacturers, test equipment vendors, and in-house teams to analyze wireless performance data.
- Address technical challenges to deploy wireless features.
What you'll need
- BS in Electrical Engineering plus 2 years of industrial experience in RF / Wireless Industry.
- Understanding in one or all of the following: RF Transceiver Blocks, Communications theory, RF Parameters.
- Familiarity with RF/wireless test equipment and associated RF measurements.
- Ability to read and write clean, clear, efficient and understandable code in one or more of C, C++, Python.
- International and domestic travel (~15%).
Nice to have
- MSEE.
- 5+ Years of industry experience.
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and scalable software design principles.
- Recent experience in developing test solutions for wireless RF standards (e.g. WiFi 802.11xx, Bluetooth 5.0, 5G, NFC, UWB).
- Familiarity with tools that enable high volume manufacturing of these technologies.
