About the role
This role involves developing RF front-end modules for wireless RF market standards such as W-CDMA, HSDPA/HSUPA, LTE, LTE-Advanced, NR 5G, and Wi-Fi.
What you'll do
- Design, coordinate, and conduct experiments for module performance characterization.
- Design, bring up, and troubleshoot measurement setups.
- Lead module debugging, tuning, and optimization.
- Collect, analyze, and report DoE findings.
- Contribute to the development of FEM architecture and semiconductor process.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 8+ years of work experience in wireless RF areas.
- Proficiency in using RF test equipment for the characterization of power amplifiers.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., MATLAB, Python, and C#) for data processing.
- Knowledge of PA, RF filters, LNA, and ASW.
- Understanding of, and hands-on experience with, Envelope Tracking (ET) systems, including PA and supply modulator.
- Understanding of ET/APT behavior, including linearity (AM-AM/AM-PM distortion).
- Understanding of, and hands-on experience with, memory and memoryless DPD.
