- Follow engineering practices to ensure reliability, sustainability, and high production yields.
- Drive new architectures and ideas to improve filter and module performance.
- Conduct design reviews and present quantitative data based on simulation and measured results.
- Collaborate with module and systems teams to set filter performance criteria.
- Interact with technology and fabrication teams for continuous performance improvements.
- Drive design methodologies to improve accuracy, efficiency, and first-pass success.
What you'll need
- Current student pursuing a degree in a relevant engineering field.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week from June/July - December 2027.
- Ability to work onsite at the design center in San Jose, CA.
Nice to have
- Basic hands-on experience with RF and/or electrical equipment.
- Experience with scientific programming using MATLAB and/or Python.
- Ability to process, cleanse, and validate data integrity for analysis and experiments.
- Familiarity with statistics, machine learning techniques, algorithms, and optimization.
- Knowledge of RF concepts and circuit simulators (e.g., ADS).
- Knowledge of FEM tools, such as ANSYS HFSS and/or COMSOL.
- Knowledge of BAW resonators or RF MEMS resonators.
