About the role
This Summer/Fall 2027 Co-op role involves learning and participating in the development of advanced RF front-end modules.
What you'll do
- Work with experienced engineers to design/develop RF/Microwave multi-chip modules
- Evaluate and optimize prototypes of RF/Microwave multi-chip modules
- Run simulations using design tools such as Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS
- Perform lab testing using standard RF test equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve design or technical issues
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) MS or PhD program
- Commitment to work onsite for 6 months
- Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Nice to have
- Experience with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS
- Hands-on experience in a lab using a network analyzer and other RF instruments
- Knowledge of transmission-line theory and circuit design
