About the role
This role is for an RF DVT Engineer responsible for the characterization, optimization, and validation of millimeter wave RF-Digital SoCs for phased array systems used in Low Earth Orbit satellites.
What you'll do
- Characterize, optimize, and validate millimeter wave RF-Digital SoCs.
- Perform RF bench testing, debugging, and characterization for optimum RF Wireless SoC performance.
- Specify procedures, assemble, and calibrate microwave/RF test setups.
- Automate data collection in an engineering lab environment.
- Develop and execute RF DVT test scripts in Python for characterizing/optimizing RFICs.
- Debug RFICs to optimize radio performance.
- Set up RF test benches for conducted/radiated measurements in the Lab.
- Generate RF design/verification/test reports.
- Use Git or other source control tools to check-in/check-out test automation code.
What you'll need
- Experience with millimeter wave RF-Digital SoCs.
- Experience with phased array systems.
- Experience with RF bench testing, debugging, and characterizing RF Wireless SoC performance.
- Proficiency in Python for RF DVT test scripts.
- Experience setting up RF test benches for conducted/radiated measurements.
- Familiarity with Git or other source control tools.
