This Research Scientist Intern role involves hands-on development in semiconductor and/or heterogeneous microelectronics assembly processes within QORVO's High Performance Analog business group.
What you'll do
- Assist in the hands-on development of semiconductor and/or heterogeneous microelectronics assembly processes
- Perform failure analysis
- Generate and analyze data
- Document and present results to the project team
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in an accredited program seeking a PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Chemistry, and/or Material Sciences Engineering
- Hands-on process development skills
Nice to have
- Familiarity/expertise with semiconductor device and wafer-level processes
- Familiarity/expertise with electrical/thermal/mechanical design and modeling
- Familiarity/expertise with advanced materials
- Familiarity/expertise with FIB/SEM/SAM/IR/XRAY analysis
- Familiarity/expertise with statistical data analysis tools (e.g. Spotfire, Minitab, Excel)
