What you'll do
- Explore agentic AI approaches to autonomous network and platform operations
- Experiment with telemetry and observability as inputs to autonomous decision-making
- Prototype ideas for autonomous platform and fabric management in datacenter systems
What you'll need
- Enrolled in a PhD, MS by Research, or MTech by Research program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong fundamentals in computer networks, operating systems, and distributed systems
- Curiosity about agentic and autonomous systems, and how AI can drive self-managing infrastructure
- Exposure to telemetry and observability concepts (e.g., streaming standards such as gNMI or IPFIX) or eagerness to go deep
- Interest in platform management and security concepts (e.g., BMC, out-of-band management, and protocols such as Redfish, IPMI, MCTP, PLDM, SPDM)
- Programming in C/C++, Python, or Go
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SONiC or open network operating systems
- Interest in autonomous network operations or next-gen DC fabrics
