About the role
This role involves working hands-on in a cleanroom environment to build, repair, and test display and wafer fabrication equipment, including electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies.
What you'll do
- Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and instructions to build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components. - Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs under moderate supervision. - Receive parts, perform audits to verify part availability, inspect parts for defects, and troubleshoot processes. - Operate test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to evaluate assemblies and subassemblies. - Complete documentation and data entry covering progress, work expense, and labor details, and perform computer programming, repairs, or software installations as required.
What you'll need
- High school diploma. - 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience. - Ability to follow written and verbal standard operation procedures. - Knowledge of basic hand tools.
