About the role
This role involves applying reliability engineering methods throughout product development and production ramp-up. You will focus on robotics and automation systems, performing life testing for durability and repeatability to improve service life of electromechanical mechanisms.
What you'll do
- Analyze test and field data to identify reliability risks and failure mechanisms.
- Lead or contribute to DFMEA and Design for Reliability activities.
- Build reliability models and recommend improvements for product life and system availability.
- Partner with mechanical, electrical, systems, quality, and manufacturing engineering teams.
What you'll need
- BSEE, BSME, or equivalent degree.
- Reliability engineering experience with electrical and electromechanical assemblies.
- Proficiency with statistical and reliability software tools (e.g., Weibull++, BlockSim, Alta preferred, Ansys Sherlock).
- Ability to travel approximately 10%.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in reliability engineering, mechatronics, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
