About the role
This role involves the characterization of new systems and features for inspection and review equipment in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
What you'll do
- Design and conduct experiments for new systems and features.
- Collect data and publish results and recommendations in applications notes, best known methods, or characterization studies.
- Drive product penetration and process optimization at customer facilities.
- Investigate customer technical needs and problems, providing solutions.
- Support pre-sale and post-sale activities.
What you'll need
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in characterization of new systems and features.
- Expertise in KLA equipment and customer semiconductor fabrication processes.
- Ability to travel up to 50% on short notice, for trips lasting 4-8 weeks.
