About the role
This role is responsible for the characterization of new systems and features, as well as product penetration and process optimization at customer facilities in fabs, specifically with KLA's eBeam products.
What you'll do
- Design and conduct experiments, collect data, and publish results and recommendations in the form of applications notes, best known methods or characterization studies.
- Gain expertise on KLA equipment and customer semiconductor fabrication processes to solve production problems.
- Train customers and other application engineers, handle/drive local application escalation processes.
- Investigate customer technical needs/problems and provide solutions, conduct final acceptance, and demonstrate products.
- Understand competitive situations, methodology, and performance group analysis.
- Report technology development and new applications to Marketing and support pre-sale and post-sale activities.
What you'll need
- Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; or Bachelor's Level Degree and 2 years related work experience.
- Ability to travel up to 50% on short notice, with trips lasting 4-8 weeks.

- Work experience in the semiconductor processing or equipment industry.
