About the role
As an R&D Staff Hardware Engineer, you will design, develop, and deliver high-performance electronic products, owning all aspects of EE hardware design across circuit design, validation, and full lifecycle development.
What you'll do
- Own EE hardware design end-to-end, including BOM creation, vendor negotiation support, circuit and board design, development, and validation. - Support cradle-to-grave lifecycle engineering, assisting with customer trials, field issues, and ongoing product sustaining. - Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams including Hardware, ASIC, Signal, Mechanical, Thermal, Diagnostic, Packaging, and Manufacturing engineers. - Interface with partner engineering teams for joint development programs. - Work directly with manufacturing, compliance, and safety teams through production and deployment.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 8+ years of related experience. - Experience with large high-powered SOCs based on advanced silicon and packaging technologies, including 2D, 2.5D, and 2.5D with 3D memories. - Experience with high-speed and high-density signaling with SerDes rates of 112G+. - Hands-on experience addressing power and thermal issues associated with PCBs with 1kW+ footprints. - Experience operating precision scopes, analyzers, and board development and validation tools. - Demonstrated background participating in cross-functional development teams.
