About the role
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software for network visibility platforms. The intern will focus on feature development for Network Packet Broker platforms.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, document, and maintain software for network visibility platforms
- Develop high quality feature software independently and in teams
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Serve a role in feature development and issue resolution for Network Packet Broker platforms
- Work to design and prototype innovative new features on existing HW platforms and HW under development
What you'll need
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
- Relevant coursework in a CS or CE program
- Experience with full-stack web application development, including Java and client-side scripting language (e.g., JavaScript, ExtJS)
- Experience with REST APIs and system integration
- Experience with AI and LLM
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices
- Demonstrated initiative and technical curiosity through personal, academic, open-source, or internship projects
- Strong software debugging skills
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Ethernet and networking technologies
