About the role

This hardware design engineering intern position works with the R&D team on a signal source project for test and measurement instrument applications.

What you'll do

- Collaborate with the R&D hardware design engineering team on signal source development. - Utilize circuit design and analysis tools to model and evaluate hardware. - Use electronic test and measurement equipment to debug and analyze prototype circuits. - Investigate circuit design techniques, tools, and processes.

What you'll need

- Currently working toward an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering (EE). - Strong analog, RF, and/or microwave circuit fundamentals. - Exposure to microwave and power electronic circuit concepts. - Understanding of EE fundamentals and circuit design.

Nice to have

- PCB design and layout experience, including component selection. - Experience with circuit schematic and layout tools. - Experience with circuit simulation tools. - Familiarity with guided wave propagation (transmission lines). - Hands-on measurement experience with VNAs, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
