About the role
Broadcom is seeking a software engineer for its Core Infrastructure team to develop products that support data operations.
What you'll do
- Research and develop software solutions within an agile development scrum team. - Participate in design and code reviews. - Participate in test plan reviews and develop automated test scripts.
What you'll need
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development. - BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree. - Prior experience as a developer in VSE, z/VM, or z/OS platforms. - Strong Assembler skills. - Knowledge and related product expertise in one or more of the VSE subsystems, POWER, and CICS.
Nice to have
- Experience working in mainframe VSE environments, including z/VM and VSE JCL. - Experience with mainframe VSE programming languages, including Assembler, REXX, and VSE macro.
