This role focuses on RF power amplifier design.
About the role
This role involves working on advanced RF power amplifiers in RF front-end modules. You will participate in all phases of development, from architecture to validation support, for RF power amplifier designs.
What you'll do
- Participate in architecture, system, and transistor-level circuit design.
- Perform top-level simulations for RF power amplifiers.
- Support layout activities for RFIC designs.
- Assist with validation efforts for RF power amplifier modules.
What you'll need
- MS or PhD degree with hands-on experience in RF power amplifier or related RFIC circuit design.
- Experience designing RF power amplifiers, performing simulations, and correlating with measured results.
- Solid knowledge of RF IC design, device physics, microwave, and electromagnetics.
- Solid RF and Analog layout knowledge and experience.
- Hands-on experience designing ET, APT, and Doherty PAs.
- Proficiency with ADS, Cadence Virtuoso, HFSS, and ETH.
- Strong understanding of ET/APT behavior, including linearity, memory effects, AM-PM distortion, and thermal effects.
- Good lab skills in circuit characterization.
