This role is for a senior engineer serving as a key technical contributor within a specialized engineering discipline, driving solutions to complex technical challenges.
What you'll do
- Apply advanced technical expertise to solve complex engineering problems.
- Drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of processes, methodologies, and technical solutions.
- Contribute as a recognized technical expert and provide guidance on critical engineering decisions.
- Execute and support projects from focused technical initiatives to key workstreams within larger programs.
- Participate in and lead cross-functional project teams to achieve technical and business objectives.
- Mentor, train, and guide team members on technical skills, tools, and best practices.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 4-5 years of relevant industry experience with a BS degree; OR 2-4 years of relevant industry experience with an MS degree; OR 1-2 years of relevant industry experience with a PhD.
- Demonstrated expertise within a specialized technical discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Experience working in project teams and collaborating across functions.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
Nice to have
- Demonstrated record of technical innovation resulting in process, methodology, or technology improvements.
- Patent authorship, invention disclosures, or other contributions to intellectual property development.
- Technical publications in peer-reviewed journals or presentations at industry conferences.
- Experience collaborating with suppliers, research organizations, or industry consortia.
- Ability to independently lead technical initiatives and influence project direction.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and developing technical talent.
- Knowledge of semiconductor technology development, manufacturing, design enablement, or related engineering domains.
