About the role
As a Quality Management Engineer at TSMC Arizona, you will co-work with the Taiwan Central quality team to establish quality systems and collaborate across process integration, Fab engineering, manufacturing, incoming material, and site QA teams to meet quality KPI requirements.
What you'll do
- Drive compliance to manufacturing quality standards and support fab quality system certifications. - Provide quality guidance to ensure product success at launch and throughout high-volume technology ramp. - Monitor and analyze the wafer fabrication process, equipment parameters, manufacturing, factory facilities, and incoming materials in response to wafer quality indicators and quality events. - Apply statistical process control methods to establish and sustain robust manufacturing process control while standardizing and documenting control models and methodologies. - Implement predictive analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, data science, and process control methods for specialized fab applications.
What you'll need
- B.S. or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field. - Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and development. - Understanding of fab processes and flow. - Willingness to relocate to Taiwan for an extended period for training.
Nice to have
- Experience in 300mm and 22nm technology or below. - Lean, 6Sigma, statistical training, and robust data analysis skills. - Experience with SPC, statistical analysis packages, statistical modeling, feature extraction, data mining, and machine learning. - Fluency in Python, R, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau for data programming and visualization. - Conversational Mandarin skills.
