About the role
The Quality Inspector performs inspection of purchased parts, materials, components, and equipment, confirming accuracy and following inspection methods for manufactured parts.
What you'll do
- Perform inspections of purchased parts, materials, components, and equipment, and assist in determining inspection methods, sequences, and procedures. - Utilize drawings, specifications, and sketches, adapting inspection measuring devices and procedures when necessary. - Read and interpret basic technical drawings and specification requirements. - Use basic precision measuring inspection tooling, gauges, and equipment. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and conduct problem solving to identify root causes and solutions. - Populate standard reports, test results, and quality problems, and assist in performing basic audits.
What you'll need
- Experience using basic precision measuring inspection tooling, gauges, and equipment. - Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings, specifications, and sketches. - Experience with problem solving techniques to identify root causes and solutions for quality issues. - Ability to evaluate and select solutions from established operating procedures or scientific methods. - Strong communication skills to exchange information and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
