About the role
This role involves ensuring incoming materials and production units meet specified requirements through inspection processes.
What you'll do
- Monitor and ensure incoming materials and parts meet requirements.
- Review drawings and Certificates of Conformance (COC).
- Operate X-Ray Fluorescence Machine for incoming inspections.
- Initiate non-conforming material reports (NCMR) for materials not meeting specifications.
- Maintain document and part retention.
- Collaborate with Quality and Production to ensure efficient and correct inspections.
What you'll need
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic mechanical or machine operation aptitude.
- Ability to learn and understand technical processes and follow detailed work instructions.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work flexible hours and overtime.
Nice to have
- Prior inspection or manufacturing experience.
