About the role
As a Quality Control Specialist at MKS Instruments, you will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout processes and shipments, supporting day-to-day quality activities, production needs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll do
- Conduct routine process audits
- Support MRB disposition activities in collaboration with Buyers, Operations, and Supplier Quality
- Support and maintain calibration systems
- Work closely with Manufacturing (Tech Ops) to support daily production needs
- Participate in Gemba Walks and maintain Gemba action items
- Support quality initiatives and continuous improvement activities across cross-functional teams
What you'll need
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of related experience
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Knowledge of process audits
- Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards, including handling mechanical and electrical hardware
