About the role
This role involves ensuring high-volume manufacturing ramps meet Intel's quality and reliability standards, evaluating materials, processes, and techniques, and conducting quality audits.
What you'll do
- Drive manufacturing ramp qualifications to ensure processes and products meet quality and reliability standards.
- Specify inspection and testing mechanisms to monitor product and production equipment compliance.
- Conduct in-depth quality assessments and audits to identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead initiatives to optimize cost, ramp, and production volume efforts while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with product engineering forums to recommend design or process improvements for enhanced reliability.
- Analyze reliability monitor data, leveraging statistical and machine learning techniques to identify insights that improve product quality.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Engineering, other engineering, Physics or STEM related fields with 3+ years of experience; Or Masters with 1+ years of experience; Or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Engineering, Physics or STEM related fields with related academic or work experience.
- Complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS), device physics, and semiconductor processing principles.
- Device/semiconductor physics and electrical characterization techniques.
- Data extraction and analysis skills.
- Design of Experiments (DOE) principles and structured problem solving.
Nice to have
- Skilled in engineering analysis tools and data-driven decision-making for quality improvements.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments, particularly with advanced silicon technologies.
- Knowledge of industry standards related to manufacturing reliability and quality assurance.
- Microprocessor architecture.
- Data extraction and analysis skills (JMP, Crystal Ball, ILM, REL PCS, SQL, JSL Scripting).
- Hands-on IC fabrication.
