About the role
As a Qualification Execution Engineer II, you will provide support for customer qualifications on our datacenter SSD products. Your primary responsibility is to support test execution, failure analysis, and status reporting during the product qualification phase.
What you'll do
- Install and configure qualification infrastructure for testing
- Drive execution of customer qualifications according to schedule
- Perform initial failure triage on any issues found during qualifications
- Use defect ticket tracking systems to provide responsive support for debug tasks
- Drive issues to resolution through iterative testing and analysis
What you'll need
- BS degree in engineering or equivalent with minimum 2+ years hands-on experience with SSDs and/or platform hardware testing
- Strong understanding of computer system architecture fundamentals
- Platform-level troubleshooting skills including run/break/fix capabilities and issue isolation
- Experience triaging issues in Windows and/or Linux server operating systems
- Experience developing Python/PowerShell/Bash scripts
- Familiarity with data manipulation/analysis
Nice to have
- Experience with PCIe/NVMe protocols, including analyzer and power measurement tools
- Experience with SSD performance measurement tools and methodologies
- Experience with SSD test system usage
