About the role
This role involves supporting customer qualifications for datacenter SSD products, focusing on test execution and failure analysis.
What you'll do
- Install and configure qualification infrastructure for testing.
- Drive execution of customer qualifications according to schedule.
- Perform initial failure triage on issues found during qualifications.
- Use defect ticket tracking systems for debug tasks.
- Drive issues to resolution through iterative testing and analysis.
What you'll need
- BS degree in engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 2+ years hands-on experience with SSDs and/or platform hardware testing.
- Strong understanding of computer system architecture fundamentals.
- Platform-level troubleshooting skills.
- Experience triaging issues in Windows and/or Linux server operating systems.
- Experience developing Python/PowerShell/Bash scripts.
- Familiarity with data manipulation/analysis.
Nice to have
- Experience with PCIe/NVMe protocols, including analyzer and power measurement tools.
- Experience with SSD performance measurement tools and methodologies.
- Experience with SSD test system usage.
