About the role
The Quality Assurance Technician 2 performs detailed in-process and finished goods inspections to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer specifications in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
What you'll do
- Utilize Olympus MX-50 microscopes and other precision inspection tools to perform defect inspections.
- Conduct in-process and finished goods inspections to ensure materials and products meet quality and customer requirements.
- Identify, document, and generate reports for nonconforming materials or products.
- Coordinate with Engineering and cross-functional teams to investigate root causes and support corrective actions.
- Validate outgoing product data for accuracy and compliance with customer specifications.
- Capture and document inspection images for analysis, traceability, and reporting.
- Use hand tools to assemble, inspect, and adjust mechanical assemblies as required.
What you'll need
- Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience.
- Experience with in-process inspection and finished goods inspections.
- Proficiency in operating microscopes.
- Experience with defect investigations.
- Ability to identify, document, and report nonconforming materials.
